Next Generation Watertube Technology

Apex boiler title card

Need a small, space and fuel efficient condensing boiler? Consider the Apex, from Thermal Solutions!

Apex uses the latest in compact water-tube boiler technology to create a boiler with lower water-side and gas-side pressure drops. The results are 30-50% smaller boiler pumps and easier venting. Smaller pumps saves up front and reducing operating electrical costs by up to 50%! The low gas-side pressure drop means the boiler can handle a longer flue length than competing products, giving more flexibility for venting. The design’s internal condensing chamber increases efficiency allows more latent heat to be captured in the tubes.

In addition to lower pump requirements, the Concert controls maximize savings with variable speed boiler pump technology, with Eco-Propel. Eco-propel decrease electrical usage, but more importantly, it also increases boiler efficiency. By varying the flow through the boiler to match the demand, the heat exchanger sees a larger temperature rise and thus, a lower average temperature. This lower average heat exchanger temperature translates to lower flue gas temp and increased efficiency – up to 3% reduction in fuel consumption.

The Apex design is also stackble, saving valuable floor space, in todays tight mechanical rooms. This is built-in to the boilers jacket design and requires no additional stands or frames! Thermal Solutions can also package Apex boilers onto a single skid, with all needed hydronic accessories for a complete primary loop, up to the hydraulic separator.
